More Of The Same

But in all honesty, eating all the same stuff this week really isn’t bothering me as much as it normally would because I know that in two days, I’ll be eating all kinds of delicious stuff on my vacation. We’re staying at an all-inclusive resort (which I’ve never done before), and I’m dreaming of all the delicious fresh fruit that I know we’re going to encounter. There are 11 bars and restaurants at the resort, all with different themes and cuisines, but I plan on getting my absolute fill of authentic Mexican food while we’re there. (You know I love my Mexican food!!) Oh, and even though I’m going to try to contain myself when it comes to the all-inclusive dessert… we’ll see how that one goes. It is vacation, after all.
Because it’s pretty boring to see the same foods every day, I’ll just zip right through it this morning.
Breakfast: Three-egg scramble with green peppers + spinach (I forgot my banana at home… fail.)
Lunch: Chicken with red peppers + spices (cumin, crushed red pepper, chili powder) plus carrots
Snack: Apple + cinnamon
Dinner: Fresh berries + egg whites with red peppers and spices
Last night, I had to spend a good bit of time working on the books for my dad’s company to get him ready for tax season, and midway through, I needed a little refresher. (I think it would be sort of enjoyable to be an accountant because I love working with numbers, but it sure is tedious work.) That’s when I ventured into the kitchen for a little dessert and found some frozen cookie dough hiding in the freezer. I know you’re not supposed to eat raw cookie dough and all, but seriously, it is so good. It was just the little pick-me-up that I needed to push through the rest of the work I had to get done!
I hope your Wednesday is off to a great start!
