So Pumped Up!

Let me show you:
Okay, so that was actually me yesterday, but that feeling has definitely returned this morning. And want to know why? Because I’m heading home today!!
As if you couldn’t tell by the above picture, I started yesterday off with a serious workout. It’s not that the workout was all that great, or even all that fun, but by the end, my energy totally kicked in. That, combined with the fact that it was starting to sink in that it was going to be my last day at the warehouse, left me feeling pretty pumped up! I’m so excited to get back home and return to my normal life… oh, and I’m going zip lining on Saturday! I’ve wanted to go for so long, and I absolutely can’t wait for it. Get. Me. Home. NOW!
My workout started off with a 10-minute walk, followed by 20 minutes of sprint/walk intervals, and this shoulders + triceps workout… pretty standard. But the other day, I rediscovered my FitRadio app, and it has been giving me all kinds of good energy in the morning. Yesterday, I ended my workout with a solid fifteen minutes of just dancing around my hotel room. That’s a totally normal thing to do at 6am, right?
After I calmed down a little bit, I did make some breakfast… a three-egg scramble with spinach and peppers (again, pretty standard), plus another new Naked Juice. This “power c-machine” variety is awesome!
Later in the morning, I snacked on an apple + almond butter.
Since today was our last day at the warehouse, we finished up a little early and I went to the grocery store with my coworker to pick up a few things for dinner. While we were walking into the store, all we could smell was the pizza coming from the place next door, so we decided to stop in and get a slice. I got a piece of the tomato and basil pizza, and even though I picked off most of the cheese, it wasn’t too bad. The smell was definitely better than the feeling it left me with afterwards, but oh well. (I also had a little bit of salad on the side but forgot to take a picture.)
While we were in the grocery store, I picked up a couple chocolate chip cookies for dessert (obviously), which I had with almond milk. I don’t love this unsweetened almond milk as much as I liked the vanilla version, but it seems to be growing on me.
Since lunch was really late, once it came time for dinner, I wasn’t all that hungry. Between packing up my room and not feeling like going out and getting anything, I decided to keep things simple and just make a quick and easy smoothie. Into the blender went strawberries, blueberries, spinach, Chobani pear yogurt (really good!), ice, and a little bit of almond milk. It didn’t come out looking all that pretty, but it was definitely tasty!
With today being departure day, there was definitely some more dancing going on this morning… and I’m pretty sure I’ll be bouncing in my seat all the way home. I’m more than ready to get back!!
Have a great Thursday! ![]()

I had a slice of pizza yesterday too. Fortunately, my tummy didn’t act up too much!
Have a safe trip home!
Thank you!!
