$13.88 Jeans From Wally World

I have to go into the warehouses to do some auditing, and I need to be wearing jeans, but the males I’ll be working with will be wearing polo shirts – which I do not own a single one of. And you know what? It’s mighty difficult to come up with the non-polo-female-shirt-equivalent of a male polo.
So after I tore through my closet and kind of freaked out, I headed out in search of an instant work wardrobe. I didn’t want to deal with actual shopping at any of the closest stores (pretty much, TJ Maxx or JC Penney) because, well, I hate shopping – and it was already getting late. I was pretty sure I could quickly find a couple cheap polo shirts at Walmart, so I headed there with my fingers crossed.
Well… I ended up finding a pair of khakis, two pairs of jeans, two polos, and four short sleeved v-neck shirts, all for under $80. Score! The shirts aren’t necessarily something I would wear on a daily basis, although they are still nice, and perfect for what I needed. But the real kicker is that I seriously think I might like the jeans more than I like any other jeans I currently own. Seriously.
And people, they cost $13.88 each! Judge me if you wish, but there’s so many other things I’d rather do with my money than wear $200 on my hips. (I’d post a picture, but they’re already packed, so I’ll get to that later.)
When I got home, I really didn’t feel like thinking about dinner, so I replicated yesterday’s breakfast, and it was just as delicious this time. Actually, it was probably even better because I added some black pepper. Yum.
(This version isn’t twice the size, it’s just on a smaller plate.)
This morning started off with some more TurboFire – a new class that I hadn’t tried yet. And it was awesome! For the first time, it combined both kickboxing-style combinations and HIIT intervals, which was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it and it worked me really hard!
For breakfast, I made a quick cinnamon cereal bowl with berries.
I’m off to start week two. Here’s to it going as well as week one did!
Happy Monday!
